A Proven Winner

Victory on the Track — and a Fighter for District 13

Shane knows what it takes to win when it matters. The same determination, discipline, and grit that put him in the winner's circle is what he'll bring to Cheyenne fighting for the families of Laramie and Albany County.

No quitting. No excuses. Just results for the people of Wyoming.

Why I'm Running

Bringing Common Sense Back to Cheyenne

Families across Albany County are feeling the squeeze — property taxes climbing, housing out of reach, and a government that too often forgets who it works for. Shane is running to change that with practical, kitchen-table solutions.

Watch Shane share, in his own words, why he's stepping up to fight for the working families of House District 13.

Meet Shane — Laramie Roots

Deep Ties to District 13

  1. Laramie Roots

    A Lifelong Albany County Neighbor

Shane has spent his life in Laramie and Albany County — raising a family, building relationships, and putting down deep roots in the community he now seeks to serve.

  2. Hard Work

    Built on Blue-Collar Values

From working with his hands to running a small operation, Shane knows the value of a hard day’s work and what it takes for families to make ends meet in today’s economy.

  3. Local Economy

    Understands the Local Ecosystem

Shane understands how agriculture, energy, small business, and the University of Wyoming all fit together to drive Laramie’s economy — and how the wrong policies from Cheyenne can put it all at risk.

  4. Public Service

Ready to Serve — Then Come Home

A proud supporter of U.S. Term Limits, Shane believes in citizen legislators who go to Cheyenne to serve their neighbors, then return home to live under the laws they pass.

“The people of District 13 deserve a representative who listens, who shows up, and who puts their interests above politics. That's exactly what I intend to do.”

Our Land. Our Values. Our Future.

Where Shane Stands

The Platform

Permanent Property Tax Relief

  • Wyoming families and seniors should never be taxed out of the homes they worked a lifetime to earn.
  • Shane will fight to make property tax relief permanent and automatic — eliminating the burdensome requirement for homeowners to manually reapply every single year.
  • Real relief means predictable valuations and constitutional reform so working families keep more of what they earn without jeopardizing essential emergency services.

Attainable Housing & Cutting Red Tape

  • Laramie’s young families, workers, and seniors are being priced out by an artificial housing shortage made worse by excessive government red tape.
  • Shane backs free-market solutions: streamlining local permitting, modernizing outdated zoning constraints, and eliminating bureaucratic delays so local builders can build attainable homes.
  • Government shouldn’t stand in the way of working families owning a home — it should get out of the way, support local trades, and let the market work.

Protecting Education & Classroom First

  • Our kids and university students deserve strong educational institutions — and state tax dollars must reach teachers and classrooms, not administrative overhead.
  • The University of Wyoming and local public schools are the economic heartbeat of Albany County; Shane will defend essential education budgets while demanding strict fiscal accountability and audits.
  • Strong support for local control: ensuring Laramie parents, educators, and local school boards make decisions for our children rather than distant bureaucrats.

Citizen Leadership & Accountability

  • Dedicated to citizen-led governance over career politics; proud signer of the U.S. Term Limits pledge to bring accountability back to the legislative process.
  • Bringing practical, blue-collar “kitchen-table” economics to Cheyenne after more than three decades of one-party status quo in District 13.
  • A representative for all of Laramie: focused on defending constitutional rights, protecting local jobs, and listening directly to Albany County constituents.
